Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director, famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. A versatile actor he is adept at playing comedic and dramatic parts. His career has seen him perform a number of romantic characters, as well as appearing in a few action-packed films. In his teenage years the actor developed an appreciation in performing and acting. He then tried comedy stand-up as a teenager. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career however this set the way for his successful acting career. To be successful as a comedian and performer, he was hired in the role of a cameraman with a local cable television station. Through his work, he came to realise that he desired to appear present on camera. When he was offered a part on TV, he starred in numerous shows of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The natural talents of the actor earned him a lot of attention on television. When he began his film career his aspirations were high and gained acclaim for his comic-book roles. His career was further enhanced after he was praised for his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In time he grew up in the field of acting and then began producing and directing films. He received several awards and nominations for his role in the 2014 film Birdman.
